Cable Television Advisory Committee
The Cable Television Advisory Council consists of seven volunteers that are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The duties and powers of the Committee, which are advisory, are as follows: oversee technical aspects of Cable Television Ordinance, oversee public access programming and utilization of the institutional network, certify finished cable television system by Comcast Cable Communications, supervise extensions of cable television, institutional network extensions and adjacent cable system interconnects, review rates, review annual FCC system certification and conduct such other activities which may properly come before this Committee.

Verizon Franchise
The Board of Supervisor at their October 2 meeting approved the Verizon Franchise Agreements recommended by the Cable TV Advisory Committee. The Franchise Agreement, Ordinance, and Notice can be viewed below.
