There are diagrams showing location of sewer lines for most properties in the Township. Stop by the Township building and a staff member will pull your property card and show you where it is.
My sewer line is blocked, what do I do?
The line from the street to the building is the responsibility of the property owner and a plumber should be called to clear any blockages. If there is a blockage in the sewer main, the Township will have it cleared.
Is there a place in the Township for disposal of large items, such as furniture, old computers, appliances, etc.?
No. The Township asks property owners, where possible, to compost leaves on their property. Your trash hauler will typically designate specific dates that they will pick up leaves. Tredyffrin Township does have a compost site for residents to drop off leaves. It is open for specified period of time in the spring and fall. Go to compost site; go to trash hauler page.
Does the Township provide trash hauling?
No. The Township licenses private haulers to pick up trash and recyclables in the Township. A resident may choose any hauler licensed by the Township. Go to Trash Haulers.
